Welcome to the Bell at Boxford's Pub + Bar information page. The main bar is located in the earliest part of the building, dating from the Seventeenth century. We have a bar menu on offer, available from 11am till 10pm.

The main bar is located in the earliest part of the building, dating from the Seventeenth century. We enjoy the occasional visit from Mr Merritt our longest serving regular. He’s been here for the last 200 years as the resident ghost! His family owned the Inn for that period and his presence can often be felt in both the cellar and the public bar! He stopped active haunting when an original spirt licence granted to Ann Merritt was returned to the Bell (from Canada!) which can still be seen to this very day.

Along with spirits (?) we have a range of Real ales along with international beers and lagers that are always available along with a wide range of non alcoholic beverages including coffees that are freshly ground when you order!

 We are a traditional pub bar with a log fire and offer great hospitality usually provided by our regulars, many of which you will recognise from the horse racing tv programs! If you are feeling energetic (?) challenge Paul to a game of Pool  or perhaps a friendly game of Crib with one of the resident ‘experts’! ( Every pub should have one!)

Bar food is available everyday from noon until 2pm midweek and until 3pm weekends. Evenings are from 7pm until 9.30pm

Try our award winning Bellburger….8oz of pure beef with Cheese and Bacon on a bed of fresh leaves,Tomato and onion all placed on a seasame seed bun smothered in our homemade Mayo! Lighter dishes ans specials are also available.
